Introduction.
You see, nowadays the Caucasus problem is one of the sharpest and most important for our country. Chechnya and Dagestan are not only oil, but the source of destability and terrorism.
After last autumn events in the United States even Americans and Europeans understood that war in Checnya is not only Russia's internal business, and this war, which we have been leading for several years already is not only the wish of the Russian Government and oligarchs to take 'their piece of pie' from the Caucasus oil. The world community has finally recognised that threat of world-wide terrorism is not a myth, and this battle has to be led by forces of all countries, which want to live undisturbed.
In this work I am trying to show the roots of Islam movement and the history of confrontation in Chechnya. Another aim of this paper is to show links between Chechnya and world Islamic terrorism, and to show how these links work. Only when we recognise that terrorism is the 'world-wide web', civilized world would be able to unite against this, maybe, the greatest evil on the Earth, and, probably, one of the biggest world problems in the new century.

| In the end of January at embassy of Switzerland in Georgia the section of interests of Russia will earn, has declared to "Time of news» a source among the Russian diplomats in Tbilisi. After rupture in September, 2008 of diplomatic relations between two countries, initiated by Georgia after war in South Ossetia, they have saved in Moscow and Tbilisi some consular employees (in Georgia now five Russian diplomats). Then both countries have addressed to Bern with the request to represent their interests. Switzerland has agreed. Its signboard will flaunt now on a building where before crisis there was an embassy of Russia. But there the Russian diplomats will work. It is planned to reinstate issue of visas (Georgia issues to Russians of the visa at entry to the country).

| Today results of the night negotiations which have taken place in Israel between leaders of the European countries and the Israeli management become known. Last night in Israel the present European landing has landed. Leaders of France, Italy, Germany, the Great Britain, Czechia have arrived to Tel Aviv from the Egyptian Charm-ale-sheikh where in some hours before discussed ways of the termination of war to Gaza Strip at the emergency summit. Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert at the Egyptian summit was absent, but there there was a chairman of Palestinian national administration Mahmud Abbas.

| To the international community which searches for ways of the permission of Near-Eastern crisis, it is necessary to look narrowly at the Balkan experience of settlement of interethnic problems, including by introduction of elements of external management. At all ambiguity it has helped to decide the main task: to terminate the wars which have flashed in 1990th years on space of the former Yugoslavia. Just today in one of the hottest points of the Balkans - Kosovo - occurs the next stage of redistribution of authorities within the limits of the international peace-making presence.
