In 3 century B.C. there were first states dakov. The Most visible daksky tsar Birebista (70–44 B.C.) has created the extensive power stretched from present Slovakia to Black sea. | The period of independent development. Presidential elections 2000 have passed in two rounds. From six major candidates in the second round which has taken place on March, 19th, left the candidate from «Socialist party of Senegal» (Union of Right Forces) Abdu Diuf (41,33 % of voices) and the candidate from an oppositional parties block Abdulaj Vad (30,97 % of voices of voters), standing on this post in 5th time. A victory has gained Vad for which have voted 969,33 thousand voices of voters (58,49 %), Diuf has typed 41,51 % of voices (687,97 thousand people). The Delegation of power peace by within the limits of the constitutional norms has allowed to save political stability in the country.

Saint Vincent has been open by Christopher Columbus during its third expedition to New Light on January, 28th 1498 in day of St. Vincent, whence there was an island name. More than two centuries kariby furiously resisted to the European colonisation. Guns of coastal Spanish forts have been directed to depth of island as kariby represented for colonists where danger, rather than external enemies.

In total on island lived St. 100 thousand Indians. They named it "Hajmaka" – «the earth of springs».
